Pisces-Leo Match

The Pisces/Leo relationship can be summed up in one pivotal word: perspective. This word has huge connotations for this relationship. The perspectives of both signs are so different, this relationship can seemed doomed before it even begins. At the same time, both signs need a new perspective in order for this relationship to work. At first glance, this match is not good at all. There a huge differences in personalities and needs from both signs.

In order for a relationship to be lasting, both parties need to have some level of shared commonality. But with Pisces and Leo, there is very little to work with. That makes for a tough match. Leo is very social and has a huge ego, while shy Pisces likes to daydream and never really do, something that Leo loves. Pisces is all about being unselfish, while Leo is demanding and egotistical. Because their basic motivation in life is so opposite, it is hard to find a point of common ground. Respect and the right perspective is the only way to get past this glaring difference.

Pisces is very sensitive to their surroundings, and the emotions around them. Leo, however, is very aggressive, and sometime uncaring of the people they might hurt as they charge ahead. This can make for a very detrimental relationship for both signs. Pisces loves the sheltered life, where everything in their environment is safe and predicable, while Leo needs public acclaim. This is yet another difference that can cause hardship for both parties in this relationship. Pisces is happy to stay home with their mate and Leo loves looking for attention outside the four walls of their house. This can lead to much arguing and disagreeing on how this couple should spend time together.

When the man in the relationship is a Leo, and the woman a Pisces, this can spell out disaster. Pisces loves to poke fun at their mate, something that is not always a bad thing, but with egotistical Leo, this is something that can doom your relationship. He needs to feel like he is invincibly male, and she just continues to laugh at him. Another problem in this relationship is that Leo can be a bully when faced with a non-aggressive partner like Pisces. Pisces, after going though several bouts of this bullying, will no doubt withdraw emotionally, something that will further infuriate Leo. He does not understand her sensitivity, and if anything, thinks less of her for it. This is not a good match.

When the man in the relationship is a Pisces, and the woman a Leo, the relationship has a little better chance of lasting that when the man is a Leo and the woman a Pisces. One of the hardest parts of this relationship, however, is that Pisces is such an introvert and Leo is outrageously extroverted. He wants you to stay home with him and forget about your social life. She, however, wants to go out dancing, or something equally social. Another problem is that when in this relationship, both signs become takers, neither givers. This spells disaster as both signs don’t feel their needs being met in their partner. They are far more likely to stray in the attempt of getting their needs met. This is also not a great match for either sign, and can be destructive for both of them.

In order for this relationship to work at all, both signs must come to understand and respect the differences in their partner. This involves sacrifice and self-control. Leo, whether the male or female in this relationship, must learn to value Pisces emotions. Pisces also needs to learn to get out there and do some things with Leo in order for this match to work. Because both signs are really polar opposites, it is sometimes easier to just resign yourself to be friends, and not try to take it further than that.

However, if you persist in this relationship, know that it can work, but at great cost to both members of it. Both must be willing to give and be unselfish in order for this pair to have a lasting relationship.

Leo is a very grounded sign, and can give Pisces an anchor in reality, or a crash landing on Earth. Leo can be very practical, something Pisces would do well to learn, and if they are gentle with Pisces and not try to bully them into submission. If both members are willing, this can be a good match that is mutually fulfilling. But it is important that both parties understand their need for cooperation in order for this relationship to last.

If the cooperation is there, this relationship can be eye-opening for both signs. While they are polar opposites, they are both dreamers at heart. When you put the Lion and the Fish in a relationship together, the Lion always comes out as the guardian. This is something that Pisces likes in a partner. When Pisces needs are being met in that way, they can become the captive audience that Leo longs for.

Pisces is a Water sign, and Leo a Fire sign. The pairing doesn’t always work so well, as water douses fire, and fire boils water to steam, but if they take careful consideration of their mate, this can be an ok match. One of the best things that can come from this relationship is the different views that both members gain from it. Perspective is so vital to this relationship, and without it, this match will never work.
